Jakub Kratochvíl specialises in real estate law, corporate law, and acquisitions in connection with development projects.
He focuses on legal advice on real estate transfers or leases, acquisitions of development projects and subsequent implementation of mainly residential buildings, including the sale or lease of new units. Prior to starting association with our law firm, Jakub was involved in the implementation of several projects of residential buildings in Brno or elsewhere in Moravia. In order to increase acquisition and construction opportunities, he also participated in the establishment of an investment fund for one of his clients, including setting up terms with the investment company and investors. In addition to residential buildings, Jakub also prepared legal documents for the construction of a complex of commercial stands in Brno, including the subsequent regulation of lease relations. He has long been cooperating with a Brno design office engaged in designing bridge structures. In addition to real estate legal services, Jakub has also been involved in the establishment of dozens of companies and their corporate changes. In order to provide comprehensive legal services, he has also represented clients in litigation matters, both in contractual disputes and disputes relating to family law and, exceptionally, criminal law.
Prior to joining our law firm, Jakub worked for more than 12 years in a small law firm in Brno, starting as a junior associate and after passing the bar exam as a partner.
