Róbert Košala specialises primarily in M&A and venture capital.

In the field of M&A, he focuses on acquisitions and divestitures of companies across a broad range of sectors, with a particular emphasis on technology companies. Róbert advises clients throughout the entire transaction process, from the initial structuring of a transaction and legal due diligence to the negotiation of transaction documentation.

In the field of venture capital, he provides comprehensive legal advice to investors entering startup projects, as well as to founders in fundraising rounds, the arrangement of internal relations, and the structuring of employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs).

After graduating from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava in 2021, Róbert completed an LL.M. programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science, specialising in International Business Law.

During his studies, he participated in the Erasmus programme at the University of Cologne and worked at both international and domestic law firms in Bratislava. Róbert also completed an internship at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining our law firm in 2023, he worked at an international law firm in Bratislava, where, among other matters, he was involved in international investment arbitration.
