Ondřej Falta specialises in banking, bank financing, restructurings, and insolvencies.

In the field of restructuring and insolvency law, Ondřej has extensive experience in enforcing and restructuring bank claims, representing banks in judicial proceedings, especially insolvency proceedings, and has served on creditors’ committees within both reorganisations and bankruptcy proceedings.

In the field of banking, Ondřej has been instrumental in drafting model form banking contractual documentation, negotiating the terms and conditions of loan and security agreements, conducting legal due diligence, and drafting legal opinions.

Before re-joining HAVEL & PARTNERS in 2020, Ondřej worked as an in-house lawyer at Sberbank CZ for four years, and for 3 years also as a lawyer in the debt collection department at Komerční banka. In those engagements he represented the banks in litigations, in particular in more complex insolvency cases, drew up comprehensive legal submissions, prepared legal analyses, and provided legal advice to the banks’ organisational units. He participated in the comprehensive management of a retail portfolio in legal enforcement and legal oversight over a debt assignment procedure. In 2009-2011, Ondřej had worked in our law firm as claims manager.
