Vojtěch Zavadil specialises in intellectual property law, copyright law, trademark law, and information technology law. He has experience in transaction advisory services relating to transfers of intellectual property rights, including the legal assessment of technology assets and the transfer and licensing of intellectual property.
In the field of intellectual property law, he specialises in copyright and industrial property law. His practice focuses primarily on the protection and licensing of software, databases and copyrighted works, including the structuring of licensing models and contractual relationships relating to these protected assets. He also focuses on current legal issues relating to the development, training and deployment of AI systems. He is also active in supporting early-stage companies and advises start-ups, whilst also delivering speeches at specialist seminars and practical workshops.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno. As part of the Erasmus programme, he furthered his studies at the University of Regensburg, Germany, where he focused on intellectual property law and private international law.
