Vladislav Bernard specialises in competition law, state aid, public sector, and regulatory matters.
In the field of competition law, he advises clients primarily on cartels, distribution systems, abuse of dominance, and issues associated with concentrations between undertakings. He also focuses on the issues of distortion of competition by public authorities and abuse of significant market power on the market of agricultural products. During his practice he has developed ample practical experience while representing major clients from both private and public sector in proceedings before the European Commission, the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition, and administrative courts.
Vladislav also advises clients on compliance. He has been instrumental in conducting in-depth competition and compliance audits focused on identifying drawbacks in commercial processes of our key clients, and in delivering professional trainings to their employees and managers. Thanks to his expertise, Vladislav is capable of drafting compliance manuals designed to mitigate the risk of anti-competitive conduct tailored to individual clients’ needs.
Vladislav actively engages in the academic sphere and publishes articles on competition and constitutional law.
