Kateřina Trzaska specialises in intellectual property law, employment law, and general civil  law. Kateřina has experience in enforcing and addressing rights having a cross-border element, particularly to and from German-speaking countries.

In the area of intellectual property, she focuses on industrial rights and copyright issues. In the above areas, as well as in other areas of law, Kateřina has been involved in a number of Czech-German transactions and litigation legal advice to both Czech and foreign clients, particularly in the areas of industrial property, insolvency, and corporate law. She is currently following up on her experience in the field of industrial rights and assists clients in preparing and setting up patent portfolios as well as in related matters.

Prior to joining our law firm in 2022, she worked at an international law firm in Munich in the industrial law department, where as an IP specialist she was in charge of  patent and trademark portfolios, and then as a junior associate and later as an associate at a Czech-German law firm in Prague, where she dealt with general civil and commercial law matters.
