Jan Králíček specialises in insolvency law and dispute resolution.
In the field of insolvency proceedings and restructuring, Jan has recently participated in a large number of major cases, representing creditors or advising distressed companies. In his practice, he has also handled pilot cases of so-called preventive restructuring.
On the part of creditors, Jan has represented mainly banks in insolvency proceedings against companies operating in heavy engineering, aviation, the automotive industry and retail. On the part of debtors or investors, Jan has participated in the out-of-court restructuring or reorganisation of prominent companies with a turnover of hundreds of billions of Czech crowns. He regularly represents creditors in creditor bodies and before the courts.
Jan is a member of the Expert Section for Insolvency Law at the Czech Bar Association and also a member of TMA Czech Republic – Turnaround Management Association Czech Republic, an independent association of professionals in the field of restructuring, insolvency law, and corporate finance.
He also has experience in representing clients in civil proceedings, whether related to insolvency proceedings or independently in the context of out-of-insolvency enforcement of claims.
Before joining HAVEL & PARTNERS, Jan worked in the Prague office of an international law firm for more than 4 years.
