Jakub Kačerek specialises primarily in banking and finance law, with a particular focus on transactional matters.

His practice includes preparing loan and security documentation, drafting legal opinions, preparing corporate approvals and resolutions, and conducting legal due diligence. He has experience advising on both lender-side and borrower-side loan mandates and has been involved in preparing documentation for the financing of major residential and commercial projects. Jakub also advises on international M&A transactions and assists clients with a wide range of corporate matters.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno in 2022. During his studies, Jakub completed a year-long internship with a non-governmental organisation in Brussels and also undertook an internship with the Public Defender of Rights of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava.

Prior to joining our law firm, he worked as a junior associate at one of the largest Czech-Slovak law firms, where he focused primarily on banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law.
