Tomáš Novák specialises in the public sector, with a particular focus on public procurement, concessions, administrative law, and contract law.
In the public sector, he deals primarily with public procurement and concession law, with an emphasis on procurement procedures in the transport sector. Tomáš also addresses matters relating to administrative proceedings before the Office for the Protection of Competition as well as proceedings before administrative courts.
Prior to joining our law firm in 2022, he worked at the Office for the Protection of Competition, where he focused mainly on drafting administrative decisions within second‑instance proceedings. He subsequently served as an in‑house counsel for a major contracting authority in the sectoral procurement field, where he was involved in numerous projects related in particular to the development of transport infrastructure, the implementation of ICT contracts, and the supply of specialised technologies.
