Kateřina Trzaska specialises in intellectual property law, food law, and general civil law. Kateřina has experience in enforcing and addressing rights involving a cross-border element in relation to the DACH region.
In the area of intellectual property, she focuses on industrial rights and copyright issues. In her practice, Kateřina has been involved in a number of Czech-German transactions and litigation legal advice to both Czech and foreign clients, particularly in the area of industrial property. She is currently following up on her experience in the field of management and development of IP portfolios. She assists clients in preparing and setting up their patent portfolios as well as in related matters.
In the area of food law, Kateřina supports clients in regulatory matters, including the assessment of compliance of products and marketing communications with law, and representing clients in regulatory procedures. She also assists in setting up internal processes and documentation in connection with the marketing of food products and related goods.
Prior to joining our law firm in 2022, Kateřina worked at an international law firm in Munich in the industrial law department where, as an IP specialist, she was in charge of patent and trademark portfolios; then as a junior associate and later as an associate at a Czech-German law firm in Prague, where she dealt with general civil and commercial law matters.
