Jan Palacký specialises in litigation and arbitration.
In his practice, he focuses on legally and factually complex disputes, often involving an international element or technical overlap.
Jan provides legal services primarily in civil and commercial law and in private international law. He has extensive experience representing major Czech and foreign clients before courts of all instances as well as in international arbitration proceedings.
His work concentrates in particular on disputes in construction, engineering, transport and logistics, technology, and international trade. A significant part of his practice also consists of corporate disputes, especially matters concerning the liability of members of elected corporate bodies, the review of the validity of resolutions of general meetings and other corporate bodies, and disputes related to M&A transactions. Jan also has experience in insolvency law, including representing creditors in incidental disputes.
Before joining our law firm in 2022, he worked at the law firm BBH and at the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
